These terms apply to the LookTab browser extension, the LookTab account and the services behind them (together “LookTab”). LookTab is made by Ahmet Gündüz, an individual developer in İstanbul, Türkiye (“we”, “us”). By installing LookTab or creating an account you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
1. Using LookTab
LookTab is free to use for personal and work purposes. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it. We keep improving LookTab, so features may change, be added or, occasionally, be removed.
2. Your account
- You need to be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Use an e-mail address you own and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- An account is for one person. Tell us at support@looktab.app if you think someone else has accessed it.
3. Fair use
Please don't:
- overload, attack or try to break into our servers, or get around rate limits and plan limits;
- use our servers to fetch content at scale, or for anything other than running LookTab's features;
- use LookTab to break the law or other people's rights, including the terms of the services you connect (such as Google);
- resell or redistribute LookTab or access to our servers.
If an account seriously or repeatedly breaks these rules we may limit or close it. Where possible we will warn you first.
4. Your content
Your boards, notes, tasks, bookmarks and other content remain yours. You allow us to store, copy and send them only as needed to run LookTab for you — for example to sync them to your devices. We don't claim ownership and don't use your content for anything else.
5. Third-party services and information
Some widgets show information from others: weather (Open-Meteo), exchange rates and gold prices (central banks, gold-api.com), news (the sites you choose), Google Calendar and embedded pages. That content belongs to its owners and may be late, incomplete or wrong. Exchange rates are for information only and are not financial advice; check prayer times with your local authority. Your use of connected services such as Google is also governed by their own terms.
6. LookTab Pro
LookTab Pro, when available, adds paid features to the free version. Prices, the length of any free trial and what is included are shown before you buy. Payments are handled by a payment provider under its own terms; we don't store card details. An activation code can be used once and cannot be exchanged for money. When Pro ends, nothing is deleted: Pro-only extras pause until you renew, and your free features keep working. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
7. Availability
We work to keep LookTab running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Maintenance, updates or problems outside our control may interrupt the online features. The extension and everything stored in your browser keep working offline.
8. Disclaimer and liability
LookTab is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties beyond those required by law and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits. Keep backups of anything important (Settings → Privacy and data). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
9. Ending
You can stop using LookTab at any time and delete your account in Account → Delete account. If we ever discontinue LookTab or a service behind it, we will tell you in advance — at least 30 days where possible — so you can save your data.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We change the date above, and tell you in the extension before important changes apply. If you keep using LookTab after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of İstanbul have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you also keep the protections the law of your country gives you.
